The Giant Mountains are the highest and most often visited range of mountains in the Czech Republic. They lie 125 km north of Prague, along the Polish border. It is said to be the loveliest and most famous winter sports area in Eastern Europe. This status is derived from outstanding quality and variety of the tourist services. In the city of Svoboda you can find restaurants, shops and friendly after-ski facilities.
It is also recommended to make a romantic drive with the horse-sledge.
