Erhard Beitz
Information about the artist

 Erhard Beitz is a graphic artist and photographer from Germany. He is born in Berlin in 1955 and lives today in Oranienburg. He has specialized in small size prints, mostly Ex Libris prints. He is a very active participant in different art exhibitions and competitions around the world. Since 1991 he has participated in 175 events, and won many fine prizes. The art of Erhard Beitz can be described as fantasy and details. His prints are full of whimsical fantasy machines, buildings, animals etc. The craftsmanship is extraordinary. You actually want to have a magnifying glass nearby to really be able to enjoy all the details in a typical “Beitz”.

 Prizes and awards
Erhard Beitz has won prizes at these exhibitions: Ville de Issy les Maulineaux in year 2002 and Raziborcz, Poland in year 2000.

 Background
Erhard Beitz is in much an autodidact artist. He has worked for a long period as photographer, decorator, illustrator and designer in an advertising agency. He is also member of the German and Belgian Ex Libris societies
