Bo Cronqvist
Information about the artist

Bo Cronqvist is a well known artist from Sweden. His art is sold all around Sweden and, among others, in Germany, Spain and now all over the world trough BestNetArt Artgallery.

The artist is born 1948 in Lund, a university town in the south of Sweden. He is married and has 2 grown up children and a cat called “Misse”. He has lived with his family in many different places in Sweden; Falun, some hours drive north of Stockholm, Skurup by the south coast and in Lomma near his hometown Lund, where he now lives. The sea and sea life, the Mediterranean and the insecurity and unpredictability in life are often occurring themes in Cronqvist’s art.

Cronqvist specializes in original hand-pulled etchings and lithographs and also oil paintings. He is a master of colours, shades and lights. His art is happy by nature but there often is a hidden feeling of danger and deceitful security in his pictures. His art is as the real life – what you see is not always what it is. BestNetArt Artgallery has tried to give the viewer a hint of what the artist has had in mind when he has made his artwork (look at the art descriptions in the gallery). It is still up to the viewer to interpret the pictures and find the deeper meaning behind the beautiful surface.

His art is represented in many museums in Europe, and he has participated in many group exhibitions and has had many private exhibitions. He is clearly a skilful professional artist worthy a place in any art collection.
