Information about the artist

Ms Raili Tala has specialized in silk painting. She is born in Finland and is in her fifties. She lives and works in the second biggest town in Finland, Espoo. She is married and has two children

Ms Raili Tala has always been very interested in arts, and she has tried very many art forms during the years. Some years ago, in 1989, she come to try silk-painting, and was "lost" immediately. Since then she has concentrated only on silk-painting, and has produced cards, wall hangings, clothing accessories, interior design textiles and paintings (which are on sale at our gallery). Since 1994 she works full-time as an artist. She is very humble in nature and does not see her art as being world class, but we do and that's why we introduce her to the art buying society all around the world.

Raili Tala has participated in many private art-courses over the years, and she has no formal degree in Arts and she is self-taught.
