LÄNSIVÄYLÄ

A Finnish newspaper called "LÄNSIVÄYLÄ" had a story about the gallery in one of their issues in May 2004. "An Internet-based art gallery has been opened" they said, and continued by especially mentioning the local artist Raili Tala. This small news story clearly increased the number of visitors at the art gallery’s internet site.

The well known IT magazine "IT viikko" (the IT Week in English) also has an internet site. One section on this site is the so called "useful link"-section where they each week have one useful links to some other site. In May BestNetArt.com was picked out. They found the gallery to be an interesting new entry to the art market. In addition they said:

"You cannot call this gallery expensive as the artwork costs between 39 and 249 euros".

They continued:

"And what best is, you can buy the art without frame and have it framed locally with a frame that matches he rest of your interior decoration".

How right they are about the frame. Sometimes the frame makes the picture. We sell the artwork unframed, but we have also included a selected number of frames which are available at a very reasonable price
