Galina Pavlova wins a prize again
Once again we have the joy to congratulate Galina Pavlova (Bulgaria) for the Prize of Ministry of Culture for graphic work and drawing
at the XIX International Biennial -"House of Humour and Satire" in
Gabrovo, Bulgaria, 2009. This Biennial in Gabrovo is very well established and
highly regarded so it is a real honour to receive a price at this event.
Hristo Kerin and his prizes Hristo Kerin, a member of the team of BestNetArt Artists
and associate professor
of graphic arts at Fine arts faculty in University of Veliko in
Bulgaria has won the Nomination prize on international exlibris exhibition
– Beijing, China, 2008.
in 2004 he won the Mention prize on International exlibris competition
– Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Mention prize on International
exlibris competition – Bodio Lomnago, Italy.
Back in 2003 he won the I prize on International exlibris competition
– Bodio Lomnago, Italy

Galina Pavlova wins First Price
Our sincerest congratulations goes to Galina Pavlova (Bulgaria) for the excellent First Price she received
in October 2006 for her fantastic Ex libris prints at the National Exhibition
for Book Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. This art forum represents the best pieces of
contemporary book art design and exlibris in Bulgaria. Ms Pavlova won the contest
with a series of 15 Exlibris prints.
Katarina Vavrová receives Grand
Prix Katarina Vavrová, a member of the team of BestNetArt Artists,
has won the Grand Prix (first prize) at the Tokio International
Mini Print Triennal 2005. This is a great achievement, as only the
best artist in the world participated. Out of hundreds of work the

Peter Velikov - also a prize winner !
We have the honour to represent a
prize winning artist from Bulgaria, Peter Velikov.
He has recently won the First prize at the 11th international triennial for
small graphic and ex libris in Ostrow Wielkopolski, Poland. An art expert has
written about the etchings made by Peter Velikov as follows;
"They are enriched by different cultures, mythological and historical
layers. The artist cleverly combines in his compositions the human figure with
architectural forms and flora and fauna motives."
Velikov is only 31 year old, and we think he will achieve great fame in the

Benson Seto receives an Award
Our sincerest congratulations goes to Benson Seto for the excellent award he has received from the Springfield
Art Museum for his watercolour Self portrait.
It is an honour for BestNetArt Artgallery
to have such a distinguished artist as Benson Seto as member of
the team of BestNetArt artists. We have a selection of his handcoloured
etchings for sale - please enjoy the happy art of Benson Seto.

The self portrait of and by Benson Seto below
includes many of the elements which he has mentioned to us being
those giving him the inspiration to his art. We can identify the
open sea, the fish-pond from his childhood and the green nature
of Hawaii. A fantastic picture.

Art Competition and Exhibition in Wauconda, Illinois, USA. |
Juha Tammenpää and Christina
Lehtonen represent Finland Two other members of the team of BestNetArt
Artists, Juha Tammenpää and Kristiina Lehtonen have been choses to participate in the Satyrykon
2005 exhibition in Poland. Almost 700 artists from 56 countries sent
their work and only 133 were accepted. Both Juha and Christina
are excellent graphic artist and they produce stunning work. Just
